Maybelline Facestudio Master Camo Color Correcting Pen in Red Reviews

I'm certain you already heard nigh the new Maybelline Master Camo Color Correcting Pen from Face Studio which is available in an array of color correcting shades including some unique ones like carmine and orange. Hell, by now everyone has come up across at least on youTube video where someone is all Harry Potter sorcerer-like with a tube of red lipstick and a wave of a mitt to right dark circles. I haven't personally tried to diffuse my dark circles with red lipstick but props to every guru who went at that place and made a video about information technology to tell the tale.

Anyhow, red lipstick tin now be reserved for your lips just considering Maybelline Master Camo Color Correcting Pen is bachelor in a red shade to help ease those pesky circles on deeper skin tones. It's likewise available in the usual doubtable color correcting shades similar light-green for to tame redness, yellowish to gainsay dullness, and purple to even out a swallow complexion.

As for me? I had to be different then I picked up the orange shade which or apricot which was created with calorie-free to medium skin tones in listen. Information technology'south suppose to lengthened the advent of nighttime circles so, of class I had to requite it a whirl. Honestly though, I suffer more from tired, sunken in eyes than I do dark circles only occasionally I'll wake upwards not only have to bargain with puffiness and tired optics but also a bit of darkness and so, I set this aside for the days I did have those dreaded dark circles.

Here'southward my feel Maybelline Main Camo Color Correcting Pen!

Don't have my give-and-take for information technology considering these lilliputian pens are getting some raving reviews BUT I will say I hated the 1 I picked upward.

Maybelline Main Camo Colour Correcting Pen are available in six shades full and each one comes housed in a click pen with an fastened slated applicator for application that holds 0.05 oz of the corrector formula. I've seen them priced anywhere from $seven.99 to $9.99 each depending where you purchase them.

Since I have enough of the traditional shades of corrector such as pinkish, imperial, yellow, etc…Nosotros probably all do considering they were quite the height of popularity last twelvemonth. And so, keeping this in listen I decided I wanted to try something unlike which led me to the purchase of the Apricot shade. Keep in heed I already take a proficient deal of apricot shaded correctors but most of those are a lighter shade. Maybelline's is much more orange! I'd call it a burnt warm orange and non and then much an apricot color. Now you might think I should take been a bit more daring and gone with the red shade. Others of you will say well red won't work for your peel tone. I accept seen a few youTube videos with medium fair skinned ladies and lads using carmine lipstick to conceal dark circles however, I wasn't feeling equally daring then, apricot ended up coming abode with me.

Maybelline does say this is suitable for lighter and medium skin tones just I couldn't go it to piece of work for me. It's a horror story. The color is too pigmented and I ended up looking like a Bratzis with it under my eyes. Needless to say, this is a corrector so applying concealer on top is a necessary evil but the trouble here is the apricot is such a dark shade that it shows through my concealer. I ended upwards looking like I was punched in the centre.

The formula isn't quite that friendly is. It's rather thick and creamy just also, quite dry so I found it hard to blend. I become why they made it so pigmented as it should be to correct really dark circles but I find it challenging to conceal on top of something that pigmented. This is so Not for lighter pare tones. Mayhap it might work better on tanned or darker medium skin tones only on my medium fair skin information technology merely wasn't working. Burnt orange is apparently non a corrector shade created for me.

If they created this in a concealer with this much pigment I'd be pretty intrigued to give it a re-try. I didn't dear the drier texture simply I do know it wore like a champ for several hours without creasing which is a plus. Sadly, the shade just didn't work out for me which is one reason I tin't recommend it. Simply if you're in need of a corrector the Maybelline Chief Camo Color Correcting Pen might just be the way to go specially if the others shades are as pigmented as Apricot was for me.

Maybelline Primary Camo Color Correcting Pen is available now at ulta.com, target.com, and amazon.com.
